The British royal, 75, was seen arriving at Buckingham Palace by automotive — forward of Her Majesty’s procession to Westminster Corridor — on Wednesday, September 14. (The late queen’s coffin will lie in state on the church till her funeral on Monday, September 19.)

For the somber event, Camilla wore all-black, together with a coat gown and a chic hat. The London native paired the look with a string of pearls and a dainty brooch. The silver jewel was a present from her father, Bruce Shand, who died in 2006, in line with the Daily Mail. Seated next to Camilla was Princess Kate, who was additionally wearing darkish colours. The Princess of Wales, 40, sported a fragile brooch and earrings that belonged to Elizabeth, per the U.Ok. publication. Her Majesty famously wore the pearl-drop set in 1997. Kate, in the meantime, beforehand wore the earrings on Remembrance Day 2020.

“The dying of my beloved mom, Her Majesty The Queen, is a second of the best disappointment for me and all members of my household,” Charles wrote in a press release shared through his Clarence Home Twitter account on Thursday. “We mourn profoundly the passing of a cherished Sovereign and a much-loved Mom. I do know her loss shall be deeply felt all through the nation, the Realms and the Commonwealth, and by numerous folks all over the world.”
